I would not recommend by the price it was and what it was meant for it to be.An ultimate travel-dryer, tested to deliver 100 percent of the power and performance of most professional full-size dryers, for the perfect Drybar blowout on-the-go. I had bought it because I travel a lot and wanted a mini hair blow dryer for the convenience of it. Going back to Conair.Would Not recommend1Honestly I have only tried the blow dryer twice and by the second time it shut off on me and it would not turn back on. I use the hair dryer about twice a week (as I only wash my hair twice a week) with a diffuser- and it has held up for over 6 years! There is a little wear and tear (some slight cracks in the base, nicks, and dings) but it still works great! It also has the power of the regular buttercup-so I highly recommend it!Doesn't work1My travel sizes blow dryer broke after two uses. I have very thick, coarse, and wavy hair. You can also find these at discount stores so that explains some of the poor quality.6 Years Strong5Got this blow dryer for my birthday all the way back in 2016. It's been too long since I purchased this so I can't return it but I would not recommend this or purchase it again.

Plus, I always use the cool shot button, which this one does NOT stay pressed in, and does not get that cool.I will probably try it one or two more times before fully committing to keeping or returning.Stopped working after a year1Bought it a year ago & now it doesn't work. The handle is wobbly/defective3The blow dryer power is good, but the handle keeps wobbling and the plastic is not staying together.

While I am glad it has a high and low setting for the airflow, because I do use both, there is no temperature setting, and even on low, the heat is way too hot. I bought it, tried it and was a bit disappointed. So I was very excited when a smaller/travel sized-version came out. It's actually bigger and heavier than I expected, but the folding handle will still make it pretty good for travel and it's light enough to be manageable with my carpal tunnel and arthritis issues. Not quite as good as the originalI am a HUGE fan of my Drybar Buttercup blow dryer.I tell everyone who will listen about how great it is and how it has changed the texture of my hair for the better. My hair comes out smooth and does not seem to incur any damage. It's quieter than my previous dryer and the little nozzle thing on the end stays put (my old one continuously fell off). From towel dried to dry - styled with a round brush, takes less than 5 minutes. Next » Excellent dryer!I have fine, thin hair so I can't comment on how it is for thick hair (though I imagine it's great!) but it's perfect for mine.
